Tatley Grund (TG) was part of the project team for the Cleveland High School renovation—a $68 million restoration of this 1920s era building. The school was designated as a historic landmark in 1981 by the city of Seattle. This designation added to the challenges of restoring an older structure.

TG was contracted to perform specialized restoration and replacement of terra cotta, cast stone and existing masonry sections of the exterior cladding assembly. In addition, we performed removal of a cementitious parge coat, cleaning of the masonry, and installation of new caulking sealant throughout the facility.
