The Safeco Plaza Building, commonly referred to as the Black Box, is a 50-story office tower and is one of Seattle’s original skyscrapers. It has a cladding assembly primarily constructed of aluminum framing and individual glazing pieces. TG was awarded this project through a competitive bidding process.

The scope of maintenance / repair work consisted of a full sealant replacement of all exterior exposed caulking joints. In addition, we installed over 500 custom pre-cured silicone corner boots and a variety of transition details.
